About Andrea McCook
Andrea McCook, Associate Professor of Theatre Arts, has been teaching at Flagler College since 1991, specializing in acting, directing, and theatre history.
During her time at Flagler College she directed numerous main stage productions, including recent productions of Fefu and Her Friends, The Three Sisters, and The Tempest, receiving several KCACTF Awards for Excellence in Directing. She earned her MFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts Graduate Acting program, and accumulated performance credits in television, film, and stage in New York and regionally.
Recent accomplishments include playing Violet Weston in August Osage County at The Limelight Theatre, and serving as producer of Shepardfest, a three-day celebration of the life and works of Sam Shepard in theatre, film, and music in August 2021.
Andrea is a proud member of the National Alliance of Acting Teachers
