Membership Portal Tutorials & FAQ

My invitations say "Invitation queued." What does that mean?
It means you did everything right & they're on the way out! The system is sometimes overwhelmed by the number of emails going out at a time across all users (including other organizations utilizing the platform), and so it takes longer to get everything out in order to make sure the emails aren't being bounced back and filtered through spam.
But I'm on a time crunch!
That's okay! If they're queued, that means the email hasn't gone out, but the invitation does exist.  Have your incoming inductees go to the website and click on the "Login" button in the upper right-hand corner. Instead of utilizing the login feature, they should utilize the claim my invitation option and enter the email address that was used for the invitation group when it was created.

I was working on an invitation group and had to close out.  Now it's giving me an error because I have an open invitation group/already utilized my invitation group for the semester.  What do I do?

If the issue is that you lost the invitation group you were working on, simply log in and look at the center of the screen on the landing page where it says "invitation portal" and your group should be right there! It will not be under "manage membership" or the "membership" dropdown.

If the issue is that you are trying to create a second invitation group and it is not allowing you, this is because each chapter is allowed 1 invitation group per semester due to processing & shipping.  If you need a second invitation group and therefore a second shipment of supplies, there will be an additional $15 shipping fee.  If there is a reason you should not be subject to this fee, that will be clearly communicated.
