I really didn't think of it as work, but I now understand it was work for others. And, my small sacrifices for the shows, were really honorable works, for others. |

2010-10-23 23:01:52.07203 | | I was rewarded for my acting by being honored with admission as a member to Delta Psi Omega Theater Honor Society in 1954 or '55 in the Theater Department at Los Angeles Valley Jr. College. I think the name of the college was changed sometime after I attended.Looking it up on the net this evening I discovered you. Is there any relationship with the other?
During the time I attended Jr. College, Victor Edward French was also a student there, who went on to have a professional acting career in movies and TV. To the rest of us he was simply Ed French.
At the school I was nominated for Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress in three act plays and those categories plus Best Bit in one act plays. I won Best Actress. Later I did community theatre for a few years
in Orange,Californis,Fullerton Californis and Pomona, Caliornis and won Best Actess again. After moving to Washington I went back to school and became an RN. Just this evening I became curious as to the existence of the honor society and looked it up here on the net.I was pleased to see it seems to be thriving. I hope you will satisfy my curiosity about any association with the other. Thank you
