Hey everyone, I'm a chair head with the Xi Epsilon cast of Alpha Psi, located in Westminster, Maryland.
Recently, we've lost A LOT of members due to GPA requirements.

I know that Nationals has posted the GPA as 2.5, but was wondering if casts checked semester GPA or cummulative GPA?

Our cast checks every semester.  We've lost A LOT (I can't stress this enough!) of members.....most of those who have higher than 2.5 cummulative GPAs....

If we're doing this wrong, how should I approach my cast about this?  Requirements for staying a member of our cast is a VERY touchy subject lately.

Thanks for the help!

National requires a 2.5 GPA to qualify for membership - most of us take that to mean that you need a 2.5 to pledge and activate.  Beyond that the principle is that Alpha Psi Omega is for life:  the local chapter can create reasonable rules for active membership in that chapter, and if you want to have people go inactive if their GPA drops I suppose you can - but there should be an unfussy way to go active again when the grades come up.  But that would be up to your chapter.
