There was a post in the guestbook not long ago by someone looking for "Alpha Psi Omega Merchandise" to be available on here. On talking with some our President and Business Manager, we've decided to look into this. However, that involves knowing what people want.

What sorts of merchandise would people like to see, both product, and what should be on it (logo, name, etc.) ?

Hey Joel,

Personally, I'd like to see the banner that is advertised the most, but I think all of the items should be put up for display. It would help members know what they are getting before they buy it. I remember buying two copies of the Constitution and Ceremonies and was very surprised at the size of both (as compared to the price).

Also, any possibility to get links to Greek101.com or GreekGearExpress.com to help members get shirts, mugs, etc.?

Pictures are going to happen as soon as I get my digital camera and the goods in the same room. Really sad considering that I had one of each for quite a while (as president of my cast holding our stuff) and I didn't have the camera yet.

Links to places like that are a thought. I've also found someone who will do embroidery that I'm looking into. That's why I'm really looking for *product* suggestions

I know of one Cast who has one made, although I'm not crazy about their design. Keychains, hats, and such would be cool, too. Hope that helps

I had an idea for merchandise. What about car decals/bumper stickers?

Another honor society I'm a part of (Lambda Iota Tau) has a car decal with it's Coat-of-Arms and it's letters. We could make two (one for APO and one for DPO). I think it'd be a great thing to show Theatre Society Pride.

I don't know of the cost of such items, but I assume they couldn't be that much.

Just a suggestion.

You can easily create unique stuff and sell it trivially, but for Nationally approved stuff we want it to last. (IMO, chapters are welcome to use cafepress for their own stuff, but this is not an official endorsement.)

Great way to advertise ourselves and what we do to our campuses. I also would like to see a Alpha Psi Omega Flag. What better way to show your pride than to wave it around haha? It would be great for Open Houses, Meetings, etc.

Unfortunately, no. All of the options we've come up with so far have involved us getting a pile of T-shirts, bumper stickers, etc. made, and then keeping the inventory and selling them as people order. That would land on our National Business Manager, and he's already got a disproportionate portion of everything on his plate.

Although I just re-read the entire thread here and am thinking that cafepress would be fine for bumperstickers, it's mostly their shirts I've heard complaints about. I'll bring it up tomorrow at the Executive Meeting and we could possibly have something shortly.

Just not shirts. Those are difficult to source and get quality product.

There's a typo in the image for the bumper sticker that should get fixed tonight, then I'm going to pass the products past the other officers. Assuming they like what we have, we should be selling by the end of the week. It's a start.

I expect the cafepress stuff will be as I was working on, but everything else will be much easier to deal with.
