“FOR YOUR SOUL’S SAKE” BY Mary-Terry Wiley

TAMAR Entertainment, Incorporated is seeking two non-equity singers, dancers, actresses to perform with the upcoming stage play, “For Your Soul’s Sake,” previewing 2003. The play will travel to twenty-six cities or more. Salary, transportation, and housing will be provided. Auditions will be held at:

TAKE 59 NORTH, EXIT AND MAKE A RIGHT ON E. MT. HOUSTON, (KEEP STRAIGHT GO PASS 1ST LIGHT AT HIRSCH ROAD, PASS 2ND LIGHT AT HOMESTEAD) MAKE A RIGHT AT THE 3RD LIGHT AT SUBURBAN STREET @ E. MT. HOUSTON KEEP STRAIGHT UNTIL YOU GET TO THE 3RD DRIVEWAY ON THE LEFT AT 11524 SUBURBAN STREET (The lot will have a Beige House in front of the tall beige aluminum building with a Marquee board)
DATE: EVERY MONDAY FOR THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER
TIME: 10 A.M. – 6 P.M.
REQUIREMENTS:
A female that is average height, small frame (skinny), and a good actress to perform a monologue (reading from a diary) talking about her experience as a sexually abused crack addict. Must have a good singing voice (that can perform the hymn "Sooner will be done."
2nd Character: A dark skinned black female that's 5’5 to 6’2, with a nice shape (in order to look nice in a belly dancers costume), some acting skill to play an arrogant queen.
Be prepared to offer at least two out of three:
1 minute vocal to demonstrate range,
1 minute drama or comedy monologue (scipt)
1 minute dance presentation
