If Dr. Jones and I get ambitious and try to move Alpha Psi Omega to some electronic records keeping of members, this would become possible.  As it stands, the records of all the people ever initiated is 4.5 full-size filing cabinets in a storage room at his school in Ada, OK.  We'd need to convert those into some more useful format... HURRICANE KATRINA http://www.alphapsiomega.org/cgi-bin/yabb2_3_1/YaBB.pl?num=1125686805 Alpha Psi Omega/Delta Psi Omega Forums/National Happenings http://www.alphapsiomega.org/cgi-bin/yabb2_3_1/YaBB.pl?num=1125686805 Mon, 13 Nov 2006 01:27:09 +0000 Hi All -  Just thought I'd give an update to the status of our MS hit Katrina Universities - The University of Southern Mississippi had a stellar year, in spite of being closed for 2 1/2 weeks due to Katrina.   Their participating production in KC/ACTF, Bill Irwin and Mark O'Donnell's SCAPIN was held for national consideration after performing well at both the state and local levels.  Their other productions, HAIR, AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE, WILL POWER, and FEFU AND HER FRIENDS were also well received.  Their buiding was thankfully, only slightly damaged, though repair was slow.  The Gulf Coast Campus is slowing becoming operational again. William Carey College, now William Carey University, also bounced back fairly well.  Though they lost both their New Orleans seminary and their Gulf Coast campus, the seminary has reopened.  Their theatre department did some very good work with NOT WAVING, TOM SAWYER, and EDWARD ALBEE'S BOX AND QUOTATIONS FROM CHAIRMAN MAO TSE TUNG.  They are also working towards getting a new theatre facility built within the next few years. The Mississippi Gulf Coast Community Colleges are making a comeback. Four of the Hurricane Katrina hit schools have participated in the 2006 KC/ACTF state festival: Southern Miss presented Flaming Guns of the Purple Sage William Carey University presented Bad Axe Thank you to any APO/DPO chapters who donated to the relief funds.
